Wycheproof Community Resource Centre (WCRC) was established on 14 March 1989 and in the early years had several addresses. In 2002 the WCRC opened its doors on Broadway on 11 November 2002. In 2008, WCRC embarked on a major building program, funded under the Modernising Neighbourhood House Program, to extend the centre. WCRC now provides a variety of meeting rooms and office space for the various agencies and community groups using the centre.
WCRC provides secretariat services to various community groups: Wycheproof Branch of the RSL, Wycheproof Cemetary Trust, Wycheproof Op Shop, Wycheproof Information, Art and Crafts Shop, Chamber of Commerce, and Wycheproof Mens Shed. Community access to the internet is available during office hours.
Services provided by staff include: secretarial, photocopying and printing, project & event management, grant and submission writing, and electrical equipment testing and tagging.

GRANTS WEBSITES TO GET YOUR PROJECT GOING
There are many government and non-government organisations that can assist communities such as Wycheproof to fund a wide variety of community projects and individual endeavours that may benefit our community. Rhonda Allan at Mallee Sports Assembly usually has some good tips and can recommend a website or two to look at for funding opportunities. Her latest recommendation is the Reichstein Foundation and information is on the website at www.reichstein.org.au. Other information for grants with a sporting leaning is the Vic Health website www.vichealth.vic.gov.au A good central site that you can search and find the relevant funding information is www.grantlink.gov.au another good central site to start your search is http://www.aph.gov.au/library/intguide/sp/spgrants.htm.
The Victorian State Government site also has information specific to Victorians see the Grants@DPCD site:www.grants.dvc.vic.gov.au .
For businesses, Business Victoria on its website has a grants wizard to help you search for the information you need. See: www.business.vic.gov.au/BUSVIC/STANDARD//PC_50726.html
The Wycheproof Community Resource Centre can assist with all applications and information.
