the sophisticants

The Sophisticants started when guitarist Dougle was working as a production designer on a film and the director needed a rock band to scare the punters out of the pub. But for one reason or another he couldn't get a band to commit. So he made one. The first three people he spoke to became the band. A few days later the first gig was on film. This is what they have done since.
